i just started a new game and when i went to there details i noticed all there names ended with iiiii. is that something new? i also tried to give them new names but it wouldn't work. hmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!! just wanted to know if this happened to anyone else. thanks

i renamed all my villagers i had 90 of them lol my partner was in a state of shock wen i read out all the names lol but i have found names that i would like 2 call my kids wen i eventually have them well apart from the son i already have lol but then wen they start dyin or new babies get born the game muddles the names up and i have been left wit 3 ppl called the same thing maybe its easier just 2 leave them all wit the name they were born wit lol. but then i had a baby girl called tuna and thought it was cruel haha and i also agree that babies born wit grey, bald or big afro hair is a bit shockin and not very realistic even tho babies r born bald they r also cute the bald villagers r not so cute lol cant wait 4 vv2 hurry up!!!

the names are completely random

you should be able to go to the details screen and delete their given names and type in your own choices

I haven't seen names with the iiiii ending that you mentioned. My first thought was that without realizing you might have hit the 'i' key when in the details screens, but you also said that you couldn't change the names. Maybe at some point the 'i' key got stuck and you got a corrupted file. Have you tried atrting another game in another player slot? Does the same thing happen?

(At one point many of my villagers had '`' at the end of their names. I realized that I simply missed the 'esc' key and the '`' was added.

I'm on my first game so I can't say I've seen the iiiii names, however, I tried to be somewhat scientific and I renamed all of my people in order of birth. The oldest was Male 1, Female 1, then numbered that way in succession. It was so much easier remembering who was the doctor, scientist, etc...when I did it that way.
