From what I understand, the AOL Security Center is not easy to completely uninstall. Have you contacted AOL to see if they've implemented the fix yet? Their Security Center contains the component from CA that is responsible for the difficulty, and CA has already developed the fix.

If you want to pursue a refund, you will need to submit our support form, since those can't be handled on the forums.
