Just had to post how happy I am that I have finally had my first village that I played on hard make it through all of the tech levels and all of the puzzles...yippee!

They are doing quite well, I even have 1 diehard researcher who keeps on at the table, which is nice, because usually at this point they have long forgotten it and you never know may need those points in VV2.

I know anything can happen but my first in getting a "hard" village to this point without losing all of my folks

I am almost there. All I have is the treasure chest left, unfortunatly I am waiting on one of my builders to become a master builder. Of course, they are much more interested in doing laundry. I lost a total of 17 villagers, it was during a food crisis.

My hard village is an Amazon tribe. Mum Spice now 52. Spice has five daughters; Elana, Illan, Alane, Zain and the baby Zena My six sierns love swimming together in the lagoon and now enjoying the lovely garden. I am hoping for a crate with a male baby(ies). Plenty of food; but no chocolate. You know that this truly fantasy; an island with six women and NO chocolate.

Hi egallag, I haven't tried it on hard yet, but after reading this post I think I am going to try it now. Wish me luck

i found out that if you research all techs but leave the medicine last tech alone you'll build those needed tech points. so what if your villagers don't live long time... just makes it easier to breed them. who needs a villager that's 70+ years old anyways... lol.

What is diffrent in hard mode?

In hard mode you have 5 villagers instead of 6 or 7 in the easier modes, no automatic builders, and the villagers consume more food.

Thanks; I need it. Mama Spice passed away at age 67. Zena at 44 found a well perserved crate; it contained a baby....GIRL. The sisters named her Raven for her raven black hair. The eldest girl Elana passed away this morning at 67. Illane has now suppassed her mum and sister by one year; Illan is now 68 and fading fast. Alane is now 63, Zain 60 and Zena 55. Raven is now 15. I am still holding on for a crate or barrel for Raven's sake.
