Me too. And I work with students who do not have English as their first langauge. If he is only 13 and in the process of learning English, then kudos! Most kids that age who are learning the language are reticent to use the language so much, especially in written form.
As I see it, his main problem is punctuation. Once I figure out where the periods and commas go, its decent use of English even for a 13 year old native speaker!
