I just want to know what order the forums are in. are they sorted by date, or something?

they are generally orded by date. but some of the more important threads have been marked as a sticky and will always stay at the top. so all of the steakies will be listed first with the most recent thread having a comment on top. after that will be all the other posts that are not pinned and again will have the most recent post on top.
