I dragged one of my female villagers to a dead villager, so she could bury him. Instead of burying him, she got pregnant.

Has this happened to anyone?

Lol! That is to funny. That hasn't happen to me but I had a 60 year old female in good health today breed and dropped dead on the spot. She even got pregnant but no baby ever showed up.

*Rubs eye* Wow. Now that is what i call funny!!!

Actually, I think I have seen that happen, or at least it LOOKED like that was what happened -- although it is possible that they were already pregnant but just hadn't updated to show the baby (sometimes that takes a few moments to happen).

I have had something else happen that is very odd, as I've had my villagers gain healing skill when I drop them onto the dead bodies ... I've tried that one several times and can replicate the result (no dead villagers have returned to life, however, not yet, anyway

One tim right as somebody was dying they died but then came back to life because they died right before the healer healed him and then he healed him and he came back to life!

I've tried several times to give villagers (adult and children) healing skills by dropping them on skeletons and have never succeeded. (And did this with all levels of Medicine Tech...)

I've managed it a few times, but not often. Usually I just get a message that "this villager is dead" or similar.

I wonder if it only works if a villager died of disease? That would be logical; doctors can't cure old age.

I'm sure they have to die of disease in order to have that ability!

If you hav a dead skeleton you can heal, pause the game, exit out of it (change player or so), than go back. It should show what the dead were doing last (thats how i got my avatar). And the dead villager u can heal should be drinking well water, or be in the area of the sick.

yes it happen to me. I got some preggers and had a lot of people learn to heal by dropping them on dead bodys. lol but dont' work everytime its a hit an miss type thing

Must be a glitch in the game....

In Fish Frenzy (another good game by this company) I was able to do the same thing on a regular basis. Made it really tremendous because then you could pass along traits even if the father was dead. Unfortunately it didnt work the other way. You couldn't get a baby with a dead mother and an alive father.

Can anyone tell me if/ how I can cure a young, weakened villager? I tried to have my healer heal him, but it doesn't work. I get the message "this villager is too young" or "these villagers are the same gender". I really need to keep this villager as he is young and I am short on males. Please help! Thanks.

Imluvlyme, you need to let the villager rest, if there's no food, he/she will eventually die. So get some food.

You can also take that villager to the food bin repeatedly for some snacks. It can take 8 snacks or so to improve their health, but they will start to get stronger.

A healer will only cure villagers who are sick. And they will not make their health bar increase. As Charley and LadycfII have said, the villager will feel better in time, and feeding them at the bin will help.
