I left my Virtual Villagers for a week. And I came back today and there is only ONE VILLAGER, and she is a female. What do I do? Has this happened to anyone. PLEASE HELP ME. I can't lose all these Tech Points.

Yes it can happen. Just open the crates that are carefully sealed, water-tight crates.

put your game on 1/2 speed. and make sure med tech is as high as it can go if you have the points. the longer your character lives, the better chance you have to get the right event.

there are actually several different events that could bring another character to the island, including the crate of babies, a barrel of babies, and a mysterious person in the trees. any one of them will prolonge the life of your village. if food is a problem, pause the game and wait for mushies to pop up.

If the Villager is already an adult, then mushrooms won't help. You need to have a kid to pick them!

I would be wary of the Mysterious Person Event, I've only gotten the "good" outcome once. Mostly I lose the villager who investigates.

BTW, I also have a game where I have two male villagers and they are waiting for a female. Too bad we can't combine to the villages!

Similiar problem; my hard tribe found a beached whale. Being kind they freed the whale. This gave them spiritual points. But sadly, the tribe was hit with a balmy summer and moldly food. I was left with a 10 year old girl and a 20 year male. Spice, when she was 18, was mated with Dan, 40. He did become a Master Research. While nursing her first daughter, Spice was biten by a spider, but survived. They had five daughters. Now, Dan is gone and Spice, 44 is on the island with her girls, the youngest now 12. Now on 1/2 speed, we can only hope for that crate of male babies.
