what do you do if one of your villagers is 'weakened'? when i put my healer on him, it says he's trying to 'embrace' him, and eating and drinking doesn't help. it just says 'villager is better after eating', but his health doesn't change. any ideas? oh yeah, he's already a researcher, so i can't give him an easier job.

doctors seem to heal fastest. they take a lot more eating breaks, and get a lot of r&r
everything i've seen says that researchers are actually more likely to have their health bars go down than any other profession
i would suggest changing his carreer for the time being.

Doctors do have the easiest job! if I was a villager that's what I would want to be, study the cactus for awhile relax at the beach, maybe do a little dance...just waiting for someone to get sick Doctors don't just study the cactus, they get hooked on the cactus! Drugs are bad, mmkay? =P

Yes, researching and building are the jobs most likely to cause a villager to get injured. Farming, Healing and Breeding are safer! bringing him to the food bin to eat will help, but it takes 5-8 "servings" before you may notice a difference in the health bar. But, nursing mothers and kids won't eat at the food bin, you just have to hope that they will eventually heal from village-wide feedings and nothing new weakens them further.

The health bar is made of increments of 5, and a successful feeding at best heals a villager by 1 point. If the garden is done, I also like dumping villagers there so they enjoy it--they take a nice, leisurely walk across the village, so it allows them to naturally heal a little bit without plunking them on food bin repeatedly. Unless your village is suffering from starvation, mothers and kids will eventually heal up a bit barring any illnesses that may afflict them. Oh, and note that if the health "mercury" is totally within the left-hand bulb, that the villager has 5 health or less!

hubrid... it takes time for them to get health back if you've let them get to a weakened stage... take him to the food bin for some feedings and give water as well... Time and some force-feeding will do the trick. And check the health bar of your researchers regularly to make sure they aren't injured. It's easier to get them back to full health from 3 notches down than from a weakened state
