According to the Gamezebo site, "The Zeebys is the First Annual Casual Games Awards", Wossa casual game as opposed to other sorts of games? Should VV be called a "casual" game? Judging from the posts here in the forum, players' interest in the game is anything but casual. Obsessed is more like it!

"Casual game" is a term that refers to this new wave of downloadable games that are becoming so popular. They are called 'casual' because they are popular with people that do not normally play a lot of games, hence the 'casual' player.

In contast, the 'core' player is a term used to describe people who wait in line for Doom III and play Halo all day.
