I think a perfect villager is a villager who has all stats mastered, likes running, hates dancing (so they wont go to the GC's parties), hates laundry ... Perhaps you should add in "Likes work" too so they're even less likely to get distracted! ^_^

Thanks Charley! That's cool. I have enough regrets in life without adding to them. Did you play that character out until he/she died? I know that when villagers age, (elderly), they slow down considerably and then some before they die. I was wondering if a runner/runner retained some speed up until death, more so than an average villager?

"Elderly" runners seem to slow down to the same speed as other elderly villagers. Perhaps in VV2 they could slow down to a sedate jog a little faster than the normal speed of villagers? It does seem a huge difference: one minute they are zooming around the island and the next they have slowed right down to almost a crawl. Several times I have gone for Medicine 2 or 3 earlier than I intended to stave off "elderliness" as I couldn't bear to see my once speedy runners reduced to hobbling around.

Also, they should hate crowds so they won't celebrate any puzzle.

I completely agree Arnie. I hate it when my runners go elderly and are reduced to creeping along with the other schmucks. I think they should be reduced to the normal villagers pace when they become elderly.

got to love them runners....
My idea of the perfect villager, is the one that masters it all, and still can live on to breed their wealth of knowledge to the youngins....
imbred or not, they still work out pretty good...

I'm still new, but one of my original villagers hated "rest." She was awesome--she was always doing something useful. I guess that would be the equivalent of loving "work"?
