Does the villagers age help/hurt with breeding at all?

I am curious because I gave a 23 year old male the job of "breeding" (no one else had that job in the village) and when I came back about half an hour later.....EVERY female who was old enough had a baby!

Obviously, he moved fast and they weren't running away!

I haven't noticed that happen when a 60 year old male has the "breeding" job.

Just chance or something more to it?

If the 60 year old were elderly, he would have been moving so slowly most of the females would have given up on waiting for him
