My wife picked up V.V. for me on her email account not too long ago, and while I have a few questions, as well as a few suggestions for V.V.II, I will hold off on all but one question until I have taken the time to look over the posts here. Oh...BTW, she calls the villagers "tweekers" (meth addicts) because they have little concentration, they cannot remember what they are doing so they wander off, etc., etc., etc. Anyway, the question I have is about the game graphics. I went into the game files, brought up the images, and via paint brush, I re-did all of the character (male and female) visuals with my own artwork. Unfortunately, when I turned back on the game, the characters ended up as heads only within virtical white rectangles which moved about the screen. Now, I am no big time programer and so I am asking, are we players able to change character graphics? Did I just go about it the wrong way, or are we players blocked from such changes? A character editor within the sequal might be cool...er...that was one of those suggestions I talked about above, wasn't it? Sorry about that.

Yes, you are allowed to change the images, but you must preserve the transparency and original file names or you'll have problems with the images. Many paint programs don't have the required capabilities to do that kind of image editing.
