so i unwittingly kept trying to get one of my ladies knocked up while she was nursing. the problem? the game didn't tell me a stork visited, and her kid is invisible!
has anyone else run into this?

Is the mother sick? That's the usual reason for a "missing" baby, although there are others. It is a small graphic glitch in the game.

i'm realizing i'm far too impatient for this game, i keep killing all my villagers.. but in my defense i spent most of my first tech points on things other than food, so meh. but no, i turned off the game to move the time up a bit and when i got back in, she was carrying the little bit around. would have been really neat if the child stayed vieled, though.

Be careful with changing your system clock. You can totally hose the game, not to mention adverse effects on your other applications and operating system.
