All the children that are being boarn are boys! The women are around 60 years old and I have no younger girls! Please help me before I have to start over!

There nothing we can do about it,the gender of child is random

There have been a lot of threads dealing with that issue ever since the release of Village Sim in early 2005! Here's a link to one of the most recent ones.

So,is it a random "the crate" event where you chose to open the potentionally dangrous crate or push it back into the water?Or is it some other form of event like thing?

There are several ways to get new people, including crates. They are all Island Events. You just have to take your chances!
