In C:\Program Files\Virtual Villagers\Images'
you find a map called backup images
open that map and use left up corner Edit -- Selecet all option en copie past the images in the map C:\Program Files\Virtual Villagers\Images'
This will redo the orginal images of the game.
you can do that with one movement if you use this way.
It wil say/ask that there already files with the same names and will you overwrith them.Click yess to all and it wil be done as you will.
Close the game before you do this and afther it you can start te game in orginal vieuw again.

Good luck

Long as we're on the subject, I hope that when the obviously next Christmas mod comes out, so too will a Hanukah mod, with a Menorah in place of the idol and little yamaukahs on the men.

there will be a christmas mod, but due to time there will only be one version that i release that came from about 5 different peoples sources that have been working on. It would be nice to do something for everyone, but its just not possible. We just do this for fun. It will be out before December 1st.

Yeah Monk!! Remember there is always next year. I'm going to save my Halloween and Thanksgiving mods for next year.

I really do like the pumpkins and turkeys instead of mushrooms; so much easier to see.

I downloaded and unzipped the Thanksgiving mod but never could get it to load the images to the game. Followed the directions to the letter and finally gave up. I suppose it's because I bought my version through Real Arcade but I won't make that mistake again. I'll be one of the first to get VV2 and from LDW this time!

I had the same problem; here's what I had to do:

Put the thanksgiving graphics folder in your VV graphics folder then unzip. It will ask you if you want to replace the graphics -- I said yes to all.

Well what do you know? That fixed it!! When originally I unzipped the folder it made two separate image folders. I dumped the thanksgiving one and did it again this time unzipping into original folder and told it to replace original files. Yeah! Now I can't wait to see the Christmas one!

Thanks all for all of your help.

Has the Christmas mod been published yet? My villagers are still having fun hunting turkeys and planting corn, but don't want to miss out on the Christmas festivities

This is as complete as it will be. No one really has the time to work on this with their real life busy schedules. Hope you all enjoy what was done. This one is a compilation of more than one persons efforts. They are listed in the instructions and in the game!

Have a good holidays everyone.

Christmas Mod HERE

Monk, Kaimi, IBTeri & Mizmudgie - congrats on a great job. I particularly like the fact that not all the clothing was done in Christmassy style, so the final effect is not overwhelming. I'll wish you a terrific TROPICAL Christmas (and enjoy it for you, since you can't.... lol)

Wow!!! What an amazing job you all did! My villagers have suddenly developed a renewed taste for berries, and I can't blame them after seeing the berry bush Thank you for all the hard work and for the delightful early Christmas present!

they really did do an excellent job! it would have been so easy to go overboard and make it too christmassy...this is subtle (enough) and still tropical!

this morning I finally got to see the girls outfits (couldn't last night because I went and got the wwhole village preggers) and I must say they are adorable! I do agree that its nice that not ALL of them are dressed for christmas. I do love that the christmas outfits are at the end of the F6 list so that if I want I can make all the women dressed christmassy (not likely to do so, but i can)

last rave about the new mod, promise (maybe)

i just saw my first "mushroom" in the new mod! they are so cute running around the island carrying their presents!

i just thought about easter, how cute it would be for the kids to actually be out "hunting" easter eggs

I love the Christmas Mod too and I also loved the "present" mushrooms. I agree with eyeshigh that an Easter mod would be good too.

Two of my villages had an celebration for the anniversary of the landing and I was looking for the Thanksgiving mod to change it over but I can't find it :(.
