I guess I was very lucky because
when I started a new game on Monday the Stranger in the boat event appear.I chose the right answer and got level two in medicine.Next day I got the the Stranger in the boat event again so I pick the same answer and I got level three
medicine.It save me lot of tech points

I don't think you can get enough tech points to buy Medicine level one and two in 2 days even if you put all villagers on research table and set the time to 2x.
