Has this happened to anyone?: I kept dropping a guy on a girl, they didn't do; dropped the girl on the guy, still nothing; then at one point I dropped the guy on the girl, and the next second she had a baby in her arms and the population went up by 1. They didn't go to the love shack at all; it appeared to be an instant baby.

That's a little trick that people have been using to save time since the days of Village Sim for Palm. Most of think it's very handy, albeit not very romantic!

I don't know how I did it, tho. It never happened before. Do you mean I can bypass the going indoors to get the babies?

Yes, the trip indoors is merely a formality. If you watch the population counter, you'll see the increase immediately after the kiss that produces the baby. There is normally a delay between the time that the baby is "produced" and the time that the baby "appears" (unless, of course, you've interrupted the mom, which cancels the delay).

Oh, I see. I must have clicked her and that's how the baby seemed to instantly appear without the trip to the hut. Thanks.

this is a strange twin age 33 one got pregnant after the hand (of mine) told here to go to the lagoon.Her sister only looked at here and took her own baby. I swaer i saw no boy in ther neigborhood. Creepy

Ok been playing this game for a long time now, had several villages etc but today I saw something I will probably never ever see again. Was trying to get them to dig for something and one GIRL walked up to another GIRL and embraced her and next thing I know she has a baby. So I thought maybe my glasses just needed adjusting lol. But I checked and they were both females so I took the other girl over to a guy and she became instantly pregnant as well. They never went to the hut ? Game gliche obviously because if you accidentally bump 2 of the same gender together they run like crazy screaming lol. Just wanted to share this one with you all

I swear the other day I accidentally bumped this guy onto a girl and she had a baby the next second, so I put him on a couple more girls and they had instant babies. I mean the baby just appeared as soon as I put him on her. I didn't move her at all. They were close to the ocean, so maybe the waters have some kind of an effect on breeding. Or maybe that guy was just very fertile. Hee hee.

devilyn, I don't know what you mean "pull them out". How does that increase the population?

If you drop one villager on another and they "kiss" they will then start to walk towards the love shack together. A baby will be born when they come out again. However, if you watch the count of villagers on the screen it will go up if she is going to have a baby. If nothing happens you can try dropping the villager again and again until a baby (or babies) is registered. If you then move the woman a baby will "magically" appear in her arms. It seems a little mean, though, denying them their time in the love shack together.
