I've seen alot of golden child posts around here and was wondering, what does the Golden Child do?

The Golden Child is a very special child. This child can help you complete many goals and puzzles you face on Isola. To get this child, you may have to get a little "wet."

Take a look at the strategy guide at virtualvillagers.com. The golden child is the "special villager."

The Golden Child will not just happen - you have to do something specific to produce him (he's not an ordinary child). If you need help, you can check the Virtual Villagers Guide.

In addition to the puzzles that the golden child is supposed to do, I have found that he will also heal people. I did it on a whim. After finding out that the children could heal in VV2, I tried it in VV1 with the golden child. I KNEW that he had to be able to do something with his abilities. You have to drag him to the person, though. He won't just heal people on his own. \:\)

That is pretty cool. For a very long time I could not figure out how to get the last puzzles done then found the game guide and learned about the golden child.

Kind of strange. He tops out in all the categories, but is only a five year old child. Forget the parenting part though...he's just too young! He can heal and he can walk on water. None of the other children can even swim. Like a little kid, he wants to party and play a lot and gets the other villagers involved. I think that is what irritates people...the GC stops other villagers from doing what they were doing just to party and dance. Hey, he's just a little kid.

Live and let live!
