I have been playing this game for a while and I have an unresolved question... how many base fish do you need to breed every fish in this game? and what are they?

The reason I ask is I am keeping my purchased eggs but i am running out of room in my tanks. I have played this game a few time but never been able to figure that out. and because of this it takes me longer to find the magical fish.

You can breed every fish in the game if you have the "right" handful of common fish to start with. It might take several generations of cross-breeding in some cases, but it can be done. You might be interested in this thread, which has several people's efforts toward that end.
