I just started playing the game, so i dont know alot ive searched online for help cant really find anything.
Only one of my villagers has likes and dislikes, why wont the others get some? Also i had twoo villagers go to breed and they embraced went inside then the girl came out and went back to foraging, a few seconds later the guy came out and went back to what he was doing... why wont they breed? Im confused and frusterated cause the game is very slow.

only some villagers have likes and dislikes, they just seem to come with them and i dont think you can add, i've not found a way too anyway, As for the breeding if you have seven villagers and haven't built the hut yet they will go indoors and no babys,(maximum population for that housing) and depending on fertility tech level not all kisses produce babys, sometimes it takes a few trys x

If your villager's likes include "running" you are lucky; runners are very useful as they complete tasks faster than the others. They only appear once every now and then.

With some events,if you make a bad choice then it can sometimes have an effect on a villagers likes and dislikes.

This game is as slow as you see. Generally it needs almost a week in real time, or hundreds of years in game time to solve all the puzzles. It is kinda like the human history. Some Homosapiens started to farm, and their sons built temples, and sons of sons invented computer. BTW, While you quit and turn off your computer, the game is still going. You just need to set everyone in their positions and go to sleep and see what happen next morning.

I'm guessing that they do'nt always have good outcomes? couldn't be vv otherwise! i hardly ever get special events, why is this? just luck of the draw??

The speed of the game is how fast their "clock" runs, not how fast they move around the village. If you have a nursing mother you can compare the various times for nursing: 1/2 speed: 400 minutes normal: 240 minutes 2x speed: 120 minutes (Yes, the math isn't exactly right. ) In all cases it is "2 years" village time. When solving the puzzles, I'm usually playing on 1/2 speed. The villagers get more done for their "year" than at the other speeds and therefore they eat less food for the same amount of tasks. However, if can be frustrating if I'm waiting for the crops to grow or a nursing mother to get back to work. (So I may switch the speed for a short period.)

You can get everything from hints to spoilers in the Virtual Villagers Guide.

Villagers can be weakened by many things, including on-the-job injuries. Level 3 medicine will not improve her condition. Medicine Tech primarily extends the villagers' life spans. The best way to determine exactly why a villager is weak is to check the game log. You can find an explanation of how to do that in this post.
Once you know why she's weak, you should be able to take steps to prevent further weakening. Taking a villager to the food to eat does improve their health - it just takes a lot of meals to see the effects on the health bar.
