If he does die from being sick, can you get another one? I personally like the GC even tho he can be annoying.

Ok, thanks for the info. I'd better keep an eye on him then cause one of mine was sick yesterday and the way I knew, was he was standing by the well doing nothing. Do you know if children ever cough when they're sick like the adults?

I have one non-GC village. I had an event, and as I always say yes to these, the GC opened a crate which contained a deadly spider that killed him.
I grew to like the GC, the only thing I dislike is the parties on the skeletons (but will blame Arthur for that, haha).
I also have a GC in another village who's on "half-throttle", all of his skills have been reduced to half due to another event. When these events occur I don't check to see which VV it's going to affect, hence allowing the GC to have all his skills reduced.
If you do lose a GC, you won't be able to get another one. Can you imagine how many parties they'd be having if there was more then one GC??
Hope this helps,
Best of Irish, Maura

Thanks all for the info. I don't want to lose my GC, even tho he is a pest sometimes.

I've had a sick GC. I tried preventing him from being cured, but his health status never changed. So I believe that while a GC can get sick, unless it is fatal (like the one Maura mentioned) he will eventually be found by a villager with healing skills and be cured.

Oh, yeah - I forgot that the healers will come to him if he gets sick so maybe I don't need to worry too much, except that I lost some children in a game recently and I'm not sure why no one healed them in time. I don't think there had been any outbreak of illness in that particular game, but maybe there was, and I didn't make sure all the kiddos were healed before I left. Where were those doctors when I needed them then, huh? They must have been in the love shack... Boo hoo.
