Just got rid of one village (had gc and just got fed up with all his partying ways) so i decided to start afresh.. but my villagers are all imbaciles.. twice now ive logged on to find both berry patch and carrot patch full of food.. but my villagers are all weakened and stood about.. i have 7 of them.. 4 are set to master farmers one is a resercher and 2 kids.. unless im actually dropping them ontop of the food there just not bothering.. none of them have work in dislikes so just why are they testing my already worn out patience!!!!! They just dont seem to understand i cant watch them all the time! HELP!!!!!!!!

could they be ill? you didn't say that you left any checked as a doctor or if any had any healing skill at all

have one doctor.. also scientist.. have just been and healed and fed etc... gone back to check after posting and they were stood about again!!!! they must be forming a union!

heh.. even though they've been fed, if they're still "weakened" it could be that at this stage they're still too weak to work?? just exploring possibilities.

have 2 at healty now.... they were weakened but left them on full health.. the kids are still healthy?? may just work the adultsto death for being so dumb.. but think thats a bit harsh even for a sim character

aahhhh! had 2 adults left.. one just found strange blue liqiud in the sand (my doc), let him drink it thinking "things cant get worse" and he's now a child again!!!! cant procreate cant make new villagers.. womans already 52!! why why why why why!!!!! this game hates me today!!!..

I always thought when a villager wasn't motivated to work of their own accord, they didn't like the work they had been assigned, so I will switch them to another task. Usually, it seems they will take to a different task because maybe it suits them better. But I've noticed there are villagers who just plain don't want to work at anything. They are the ones who seem to live the longest, too (imo).

well i got them all working.. stored lots of food, sorted village out, just got back on after being out for the day and " hot winds have blown in, destroying crops and depleting stored food" AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
