The orange flower at the north side of the island - everytime a VV studies it, I see something like "this might produce fruit".... does it?
My school is started but still, everytime a VV is dragged over the building I see something like "this building could be converted".... to what?
I've tried using Master Farmers, Scientist, Builders and Doctors on all these things and no one can make anything happen. Should it? I still don't have the GC so is that the problem?

A very special person will do something to the orange flower. But did you use a master sientist to found a scool?

About the school...once it is founded, there is no further conversion possible. Check the version of the game that you're running (on the menu screen). If it's v1.01, then you have a version of the game that, for some reason, is missing that last-minute fix. It doesn't affect the game, though, and you should just ignore it.

If you have v1.00, then you should update to v1.01 by downloading the trial and installing it in the same location. Note: You must download the updated version from the same site that you purchased the game from, or your registration code will no longer work!

OK, I have v1.01 so that must be the problem. Maybe the orange flower is also a left-over? Thanks for the info... I'll just ignore them.

And I did read the hints, guides, detailed spoilers and everything I could find on here and the internet, and nothing specifically addressed the orange flower on the north side nor the conversion of the building AFTER the school had been founded. I only have puzzles 13, 14, & 16 to complete and from what I've read, none of those involve the orange flower or school building.

the orange plant isn't a left over. you need to have the gc to know what to do with that. or you can check the guide to see what you need to do with it.

Ah, OK. For some reason, I thought I had that puzzle completed. Silly me.
