The GC is his own boss. You cannot force him into doing anything that he doesn't want too.

I think it might have been a glitch... There are so many other tasks that need to be done before you can get the GC, that it is probably unusual for the garden puzzle not to already be solved by the time the GC comes along. I'm in the process of a game where I held off clearing the blockage until the rock was carved and I've earned all of the tech points needed. I still don't have the GC, but none of my villagers have been distracted by laundary in the mean time!

Its not a glitch, the GC can help remove the blockage in any game.

No, I meant a glitch (bug/feature) in the programming.  That it was something that the developers might not have meant, but was discovered as people played the game in unsual orders. But, the GC can not clear the blockage of the lagoon, since that puzzle is one of the ones that must be done before the GC puzzle can be completed.

You probably hit the F6 button whil he was selected. There's no harm done, but this feature is a one-way change (you can move forward in the available outfits, but not backwards.)

Hope you can get a very good vial, some can change a villagers cloths or there apearence.

You can't get him into his old clothes but if you keep going with the F6 and you have the Thanksgiving Mod you get a little Michael Jackson look alike....It doesn't affect him in any way....It's scary though LOL!!!!

Thanks for answering my questions! I guess technically the GC can heal too, but only when he calls a party. It would be nice if he could do other things too but oh well. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I think that the GC can heal, just like other kids can. I usually don't bother choosing him to heal since I'd rather give a kid a bit of healing skill...
