I seem to remember something somewhere about Magic Fruit but as usual can't find it now. I am now trying to figure out its purpose so will some kind person point me in the right direction for that thread. Even better, does anybody know what it does ??

It's at the "fruitless plant" back of the screen, to the left of the cactus. If you drop a villager on it they'll study it for a while then think "It looks like it could produce fruit ..." and wander away. It's a puzzle to get the fruit to ripen (see the guides), but afterwards it's supposed to promote long life, although no-one has shown whether it does or not. If you drop a villager on it once it's ripened they "enjoy magic fruit", but no obvious change happens.

Thanks Arnie, yes I have completed all puzzles but just wondered if it actually did anything. Not like got up and juggled LOL but what would happen if we drop people on it. As you say they enjoy the fruit but have found no correlation to longer life. It doesn't appear to heal the sick. Nothing happens when you drop a youngster or the GC on it. Thought there may be something obscure I was missing

I am a newby at this game also (although I'm thoroughly hooked) and I can't figure out how to solve the 'flower w/stars' puzzle! I have 85 villagers and I rename them all, does that matter? How do you get the 'magic fruit'?

Thnx!

You can get everything from hints to spoilers in the Virtual Villagers Guide.
