Hello all.
I did something bad. Last night I had finished my two games, and started two more.

I was not feeling very well and was very sleepy. I went to take a lie down and my intended couple minutes turned into all night.

My fiancee, while he did turn off my computer, failed to put my games on pause,so I woke up to disaster.

One village had no food, and from the looks of my villagers health meters had been without for quite a while. They had no berries left, but had racked up enough points to buy Harvest.

My second village also had no berries left but still had food. I think the only reason they still had food was because they had been hit hard by the measles.

Interestingly, while my child was sick, his health bar was quite good, while my poor runner and two other adults were in sad shape.

My Runnner's health bar inducated he was sick and it was perfectly clear. Two adults were very weakened, and thankfully. the rest were fit and spry.

They too had enough points for Harvest.

I got them Harvest, the child healed the Runner, I ran a scientist around the various plants which made him a trainee healer who cured the child.

I dumped the Runner in front of the food bin quite a few times and allowed him to eat his fill. To my relief the health bar showed a bit of red which was not there before, so I may be ok there.

My question is this. Both villages started Harvest at the sametime. The village with all the hungry villagers were not putting points on the board as fast as the village which had had the measles.

Do the villagers eat the food inbetween the field and the, err, kitchen???

Don't know about your last question but I'm sure someone else will answer that for you. Hungry villagers do not work or do anything properly so thats why they are not racking up the points. I suggest you forget research until you have your store of food back up a bit. They can go a surprisingly long time when they are starving but obviously food is your major priority at the moment. Good luck and PLEASE let me know how you get on.
