I finished a game yesterday, getting all the tech levels, the puzzles, and reaching 90 villagers. I reopened it just now and was greeted by a message saying "Congratulations! You have reached the third population milestone of 50 villagers". Thing was, I had 89 villagers at the time. One had died while the game was closed.

I'm pretty sure the "50 villagers" message appeared at the normal time when I was building up the population; I am certain that the "90 villagers" message appeared yesterday.

people have already mentioned the bug where if a nursing mother drank a certain vial and turned into a child again, she continue nursing until back at the point she was.

Well, I've observed something similar. Mamba was an adult villager with some farming and research skills, but not nursing when she drank the vial and turned into a 4 year old.

While she was growing up, I finished the game and set one of my male villagers to parenting to fill out the population. When Mamba turned 18, she was "embraced" and started nursing.

However her status never changed from 240 minutes (the game was on Normal mode!) until (I think) she was back to where she was before drinking the vial.

LDW states this is not a bug, but a feature.

Warren is correct. That phenomenon is a side-effect of ingesting certain substances that a villager happens upon! Since the men never nurse babies, they don't experience that side-effect.

In software-speak, a feature is just a bug that the developers decide not to fix.

IMHO, it would be better for the game if this feature was not there...

Please help me folks! I now have TWO games where I'm down to just the G.C., which is my own fault for neglecting my poor little villagers for too long. Here's the bug that I've discovered - the G.C. does NOT bury the dead - the bones just VANISH! My stats never changed to reflect my additional dead - what's up with that???

Thanks.

Children cannot bury the dead, and the corpses decompose in about a day or so if left unburied. It's not a bug.

I am starting to think of it as more of an adoption agency. The couple goes in to see if the right baby is there. If so, they adopt him/her, if not, they wait. That way it doesn't matter who gets ther first, how many poeple go in at once, etc.
