In fact it's driving me nuts. It seems the only way to get anything done on the temple, I have to sit there and make sure they don't run away. And it's a pain in the bottom since one is a runner, and is out of there before I can notice what's happened. It's strange too because they all are builders, yet they'd rather research, fish, harvest crops, or slack off by running around the island or relaxing or worse...laundry!

Has anyone else ever faced this problem with their builders?

Have they got any of it done yet? If the % completed is less then 0 they will not do it on their own. Once the % of completion is .001 or above, they should keep at it, although they will want to do what ever they have the most skill at. And you do have a building check as their preferred skill right?

It's at 50 percent now, but mostly because like I said, I've been keeping constant eye on the project. They still want to exercise, relax, push the boulder, fish, research, etc. And they all have building check marked. I think it'll just get done faster if I keep dragging them back when they start to run. It doesn't seem to take too long for the percentage to go up. My tribe leader is one of them. And in the process, he's trying to get every woman on the island pregnant-something I can't afford right now! So now I have the added trouble of keeping an eye on him.

Well, if you want to hurry it up, don't run the program. They will complete their tasks a little faster while the program is not running. Other then that, that is part of the game. You just have to micromanage them sometimes. Fun huh?
