Just yesterday, my husband was trying to modify the Magical Flower Garden. I wasn't at all sure if this was a good idea, but I let him do it, as he assured me that nothing bad could possibly happen. But now, whenever I play the game, white patches appear around the garden. My husband is at work, so I can't ask him to fix it, and I have no idea about anything remotely technical on computers. Is there anything I can do to get rid of these white patches, and restore the garden to how it was before?

you could try re downloading the game from where you purchased it - to restore the original file....

Would that delete my current games?

It shouldnt hun, as long as you are downloading from the original site you purchased the game from... I have had to do that a couple times because I have been messing with the image files myself...Just in case you could make a backup of your VV folder... just Copy and save the whole folder to your desktop... reinstall the game from where you purchased and see if your saved games are still there - if they are then you are good to go - if not we can go about restoring that file a different way - if you want you can PM me and I can work with you on it...

That happened to me when I tried to change the "carrying" file. MS Paint does not save the transparency so the white patches appear.

So this doesn't happen in the future, try saving a copy of the original file to your desktop. That way if you don't like what it does, you can reload the original file without having to download from the original site.
