.... to find my trainee farmer, Lorcan, who appeared to have "drowned"!!!
I was just training him, as you do, and placed him in the water to learn how to fish...
well, he went down.....
and never came back up...... I thought I'd missed him somehow....he wasn't a runner, so how did he get out of the water so fast.....then, I thought, ok, he must be afraid of the ocean or swimming, or something.
But no, checked his details, his only "likes" was blue, so the ocean should appeal to him, haha!!!
Clicked done, and all I could see was the empty ocean....where in heaven's name was he??? So, I paused, cleared everyone else out of the ocean and began searching the WHOLE THING BY HAND!!! HAHA!!
It was just like CSI, I literally kept "circling" in a grid pattern, as you do, haha, and finally...
"Lorcan is fishing" appeared on the screen....but still no sign of him..I had to click a few times until he finally re-emerged from the deep, a bit like Ursula Andress in the Bond film, unfortunately, Lorcan is no "goddess", but at least he didn't drown....
Now where in the hell is David Hasselhoff when you need him??
Had to share,
Best of Irish,
Maura

That is soooo funny. Just when you think you've seen all this game has to offer, a villager goes & acts crazy like that.

That is so funny. Did you ever have peeps stuck on the sides of buildings?

I've had a GC stuck on a building. Until I moved him, he didn't restore crops, create berries, etc. But he still called parties, even though he couldn't dance with the others. LOL

Yes, they are always getting stuck in odd places, haha! I had one stuck on top of a cactus when I opened a game once, her poor little arse must have been sore!!
But I never had one stuck under the water before!! I just kept clicking back and forth between the details and it kept showing me the ocean, so I knew he had to be there "somewhere lurking in the deep", haha!!
Oh, and those peeping toms on the side of the love shack, voyeurs like us, I suppose, lol....

I had a couple of villagers stuck inside the temple. Then to my surprise, I turned the game on and lo and behold, the same guy was ON TOP of the temple. Guess, he wanted to be a god.

I've never had any stuck in the temple, but they do "stick" in the funniest places at times.
That's how I got my Golden Child in the first game I played. I hadn't read any forums up to that, and placed a nursing mammy into the lagoon because she was "stuck" and frozen in position. Needless to say, I was shocked at what she gave birth to, and "ran" to the RA forums for an explanation, and the rest, as they say, is history, haha!!
