About crediting people please under stand. Why its not really possible to do.

I know other people have gave info that has been usefull. But because this info has been posted over and over again by differant people at differant times it would be hard to not hurt someones feeling. Because someone no matter how hard you try not to will be left out. And to say all you have to do is go back and read every post! Not only is that silly but the forum has moved since then. And some if of the old post are lost. So again people would be left out no matter if you did go back and read all the post here. I'm am truely sorry if I come off like a meanie I dont mean too. I started to make a guide too. And I gave up cause I tried to include the post and people who gave the tips and hints. But soon found out that the info had been posted by to many people to mention. And out of like only 3 page of info I had written that 5 or more pages where links to the post and people who made them. So instead of only 3 pages I had 8. It really wasn't worth my time to make the guide. So I gave up. And was releived when some one else made a step by step guide with pictures to show what they where talking about. I hadn't even thought of pictures.

Ok was told old post aren't lost but some of the links dont work. But I think you get my meaning how hard it would be anyway?

I completely agree, it must of been really hard work, you can't please everyone so I think that we should all be grateful that we have someone on the forum that is kind enough to take time out of his life to do these things for us. We should just say thank you and not look for faults. If you want a perfect guide make it yourself

I don't want to turn this in a bashing? flaming? post. I just wanted people to understand how hard it is to include everyones tips and hints by name. And to show the people who have helpped how gratefull we are to them for all there hard work. So please keep posting tips and hints. Everyone can use a good tip or hint every once and a while.

Well, I am going to jump in to this with both my big feets. My name is Lisa, and while this is my very first post here, I have been lurking in the shadows for quite a while.

IBteri, I salute you for writing this expression of your feelings. It is mirrored by me. A heck of a lot of work, and time, and probably a fair bit of cussing, went into both that Guide, and into the Halloween and Thanksgiving Mods.

Village Monk should be given high praise for his endeavors

Grin. Had it, the guide, been around when I was learning the game, I would have printed a hard copy. That hard copy, believe you me, would be dog-eared, well-thumbed through, and would probably sport a coffee stain or two by now!

Village Monk, if you are reading this, THANK YOU!

A lively discussion, indeed, but this one's a bit personal, dontcha think?

How about we agree to disagree, enjoy the guide and mods that Monk made for us, and start having fun again?

Thread locked.
