It seems as the game goes on, my moms nurse longer. They were nursing for 120 minutes but now it's at least 300 if not more. Is this right and why"?

It depends on what speed you have it on. On 2x speed, it takes about 120 minutes. On Half speed, it takes about 400 and on Normal speed, it takes about 240, so if you changed the speed of your game, that would be why.
