I started playing about a week ago, and none of my villagers that I have had from the beginning are aging at all, and my mother hasn't stopped nursing her baby yet....but I found a child in a crate, he was 3 when I found him and my child that I already had was 5. Now, a day later, the child I found is 9 and the one I have had since the beginning is still 5! Why aren't my other villagers aging?

That sounds like something we see frequently when people adjust their computer's system clock. Please see this post to see if that helps you.

If you have Windows set to update the time automatically, it can change the clock without you realizing it. We know of no other cause for the problem you describe, apart from clock changes. If you're positive that the clock hasn't been changed, could you describe how you've been playing the game, so that it might be possible to reproduce what you're seeing?

I don't think my clock changed at all in the past week. And I'm not sure what you mean be describe how I play, but I normally have the game open all the time (even at night when I'm sleeping) and I have it set on 2x speed. Right when I started playing, I put 1 of my villagers to gather food, 1 to build, and the rest on research until I got lvl 2 in all tech categories. Two of my villagers died in the first 3 days. And also, I don't think this is supposed to happen since people say the berry bush runs out of food so fast, but I have about 300,000 food and my berry bush somehow has about 800,000 berries left and I haven't even planted seeds yet, so all my food is from the berry bush.

wow! in the meantime, while you're trying to get that anomaly sorted out, why don't you start another (a second) village (Menu, Change Player), and see if the same thing happens

The numbers that you're reporting are a sure sign that there is a problem with your game (usually caused by system clock changes). Those numbers can't get that large without either system clock changes or savegame file corruption/editing. You can continue to play it, to see what happens, but it may never operate "normally."
