A big wave washed debris onto the beach, and the builders won't clean it up! Is this normal?

They should clean it up, try dropping them in different locations around the debris. If that doesnt work shut your game off and turn it back on then try to clean it up. Hopefully that works, keep us posted.

That happened to me once as well. I kept dragging the builders over to the beach and for some reason wouldn't do it and kept going back to fixing the huts. You would think they'd like a change but....

Anyway, I took a farmer with some building experience, "re-ticked" him, made him a trainee builder and hey presto...

then all the builders joined him without me asking them...

well I suppose they have their little moments as we do in the RW.....

P.S. Maybe it was a pay related strike, not enough perks, haha!!

Some times you just have to drop a villager in the ocean to get the cleaning process to work.
