You can get everything from hints to spoilers in the Virtual Villagers Guide.

In this case, it's read the ... guide The term is derived from a very old acronym dealing with reading the manual. It's now applied in many different settings.

My family said something similar when I hauled out my old, meticulously-drawn Zelda maps when they bought me a GameCube 2 years ago, complete with the Zelda Collector's Edition. I fired up The Legend of Zelda and was ready to go! hahahahaha

Who needed maps? I had them all memorized! I figured a map was a cheat, and who wanted to cheat? LOL

Oh yea, i also had hand drawn maps as well as i took pictures of the map on my tv screen with a camera because when you changed levels it showed you a map briefly for 5 seconds lol. Born a nerd, grew up a nerd, probably die a nerd. I also played a text based "mud" (multi user dungeon) for probably a good 5 years till the realm finally shut down (very depressing i made so many good friends there) Oh the memories.

I thought i was the only person on earth who did that. I played Untima: Quest of the Avatar on the old school Nintendo before I knew they even made books for games, and I was always so frustrated trying to remember where to boy certain armors and weapons and herbs and where the moon gates led, that I made my own guide. It was over 100 pages lopng and includes world maps, maprs of the villages, lists of what each person you spoke to said, etc. I think I was more obsessed with making the guide than the game after a while. LOL. When I played FF7 on the ps and later on the ps2, i made my own books there as well because i couldn't bear to use the published ones, or even really the ones online. It felt like cheating. I felt so much more pride when I figured out how to beat Emerald Weapon and Ruby Weapon on my own, than if I had used a book to tell me how.

59 hours! Lucked up and got both an adult runner and a child runner. Also had plenty of females. Both of those made all the difference!
