Hi Cathy, I'm just nearing completion of my first Easy mode game - you can't build a new house until scaffolding appears.

This is so hard cause all my 3 girls have babies and they arent doing anything. The guys are doing everything. It took so long to have the first baby and when i mated the second and third they came within 1 minute.

The villagers will start building the 2nd house as soon as your population reaches a certain number.

Don't worry too much, I was dropping builders all over the place trying to build and then when had enough people scaffolding appeared and they soon got the idea!

i think its 7 for the first hut, 15 for the second, and 30 for the third...but don't quote me on that...
i don't deal with numbers well

I was calculating from the first hut the villagers build - not including the one they find when they arrive (and how much each holds)

The scaffolding will start to appear a few villagers short of the maximum for the current housing (except the total maximum!) so in some cases the villagers will have a chance to build the huts before you are ready to breed more villagers.

Not so as you'd notice!!!! Bang the 'drum' next to the school by using your 'hand' and they'll all come running, stand about for a bit, then go away again. That seems to be the extent of their schooling! However you will notice that some are born with a little bit of a skill
