How long does it take to make a baby? It is like taking forever!!

on 2x it takes i think 120 minutes. Slower you set the speed the longer it takes. If you look at their detail it tells you how long they have nursing left.

once they both got to adept they havent been gaining any points for breeding. But the thing says it is successful.

Do i need to keep breeding them or once and then 120 minutes later she has a baby?

keep breeding them til you see her with a baby in her arms - once you see the baby being held in their arms - when you go to the details screen it will show you how long you have til the baby will be weaned - if your villagers are not having thier baby rt away - just be persistent - it can be trying to get that first child, just keep dropping them on top of each other til you see a baby - you dont have to let them go to the "Love shack"

Also, if you are playing on easy and already have 7 people, you must finish building the half-completed hut before you can have a child.

oh yea im sorry i misunderstood your post. To mate depends on a couple things. In order to MAKE a baby you must have available housing and if you have that you just keep dropping till it works. If you have two adept parents and have tried for a long time most likely you dont have the housing to support a larger population. The caps are 7, 15, 25 and 90. If you have any of those numbers you have to build a hut. And of course 90 is the max. Does that help??
