I was just wondering if anyone has ever had an elderly person drop dead when they were nursing? I've got a 60 year old nursing and I'm scared she's going to die before the baby can live on it's own. The oldest villager I've had so far has only lived to be 66. So she could go at any moment.

Unfortunately, if mom dies, her baby dies with her.

Ok thanks, just wasn't sure if maybe there was something that would prevent a nursing mother from dying or not.

Once a female villager starts nursing a child, there's really nothing you can do to improve her health. She can be healed if she gets sick, but she won't do anything but care for the baby until it's weaned.

Can you imagine if real people did nothing but care for the baby until the baby was weaned? Our species would have been extinct a long time ago. LOL

True, but in a game you have to manage a lot of factors to make the game balance work. If that part of the game were changed, it could drastically alter game balance and strategies.

But even if the nursing mothers won't "do anything", they should be allowed to go get something to eat if they get weakened. Or occasionally do any of the "relaxing" activities (swimming, talking, chatting, dancing, arguing, etc.) As a game, it gets boring if all they do is caring for baby or nothing.

I'm still perplexed that these elderly women are still fertile! Somehow two 70 year old women are nursing [one with a set of triplets, first set] and I previously had a 74 year old mother. What I want to know is, which male is it that likes the older women?
