I have 8 puzzles solved, level 2 of everything, except farming which I have level 3. I do not want spoilers just a nudge in the right direction. Do I just let them go until I get more tech points? If so, which tech level do I save for? What would be the next level I should buy?

Is there something else that I should be doing while waiting for tech points?

Ok, so now I have 9 puzzles solved...I just buried my first villager *sniff sniff* Is there anyone out there who can tell me what I should be doing?

I am just curious as to what I am supposed to be doing. Which tech level should I buy next? Building or spirituality or some other one. I am just stuck.

I already read some spoilers so I am dreading the arrival of the gc, but am aware that it will solve some of the puzzles for me. I don't want to ruin the whole game for myself by getting blatent directions on what to do but I am at a point where thet aren't doing anything but laundry, excercising and dancing.

Ok, so if you can just tell me the next step to get me rolling again that would be great!

You could just have a peek at the Virtual Villagers Guide! Then you don't have to worry about someone telling you more than you wanted to know. Just read only what you want to see!

In general, you'll need level 3 of the various techs to complete the rest of the puzzles. But in addition to that:

Getting Level 3 of Science is useful since that means that each research session will earn more points.

Level 3 of Medicine will help your villagers live longer.

Watch to see where your villagers are exploring and each time you upgrade, bring various skilled villagers to that area.

Thanks to the poster above me we must have posted at the same time!

I'd prob go for science next, since that way you will be able to get the remaining research points much more quickly -- but remember, part of the fun of the game is trial and error
