I'm about to run out of food and don't know about any other supplies other than fishing and i'm not at that farming level because I don't have enough tech i've completed puzzles 1,2 + 3 and don't know what to do next because i'm worried about running out of food any ideas?

Well, put as many people as you can at the research table and try to get to farming 3. The crops wont regenerate any faster and watering the field does not help either.

It will take only 2 people to empty the field before it regenerates. You can have them forage the berry bush if there is anything left or send them to the table.

Keep an eye out for mushrooms and have your children harvest those. It may help keep you fed until you get the tech points for farming 3.

you'd be suprised at how long your villagers last without food, just yesterday i ran out of food and had 9000 tech points to go before i could reach farming lvl 3 and i only had 13 villagers, since they were weakend almost to detha they were extremely slow and i had to sit there for atleast 3 hours making sure my villagers stayed at the research table....i hope i never have to do that again, but i saved my village!

You didn't actually say whether you already had level TWO farming. If you haven't increased your propulation a lot, you can put the game on 1/2 speed: you'll still rack up the tech points, but they'll tend to need to eat less... and don't forget to get the children picking mushrooms - a red one is worth 45 points of food

After getting level 2 Farming (or sometimes before if I get a good event early) I'll get level 2 Science. More points are earned per each "research project" and that makes it easier to get more points for other upgrades.
