The oldest that my villager seem to be only 101 however I still rank really low 300+. And another question is how do you post on the high score board ? Does it automatically post when you submit your score or "refresh" ?? I wasn't sure

Yes as soon as your hit refresh, assuming you have over 1511 births, it will be posted on the leader board.
Your rank of 300+ must be off, because I have one game with an oldest villager of 101 and it shows my rank of 65. And in another game my oldest villager was 102 with a rank of 16. You will need to click on refresh each time you want your new rankings. So try that again and see what happens.

Not sure who is in first place, but I have read in this forum that someone had a villager live to be 103. That is the oldest that I have heard. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm thinking it was GoldenGuppy who had stated that.

They get elderly at 66 (!!!) with medicine tech 3, but live longer as you go play longer it seems.

I'm still stuck in the late 70's for deaths... My oldest so far is 77. I have all the tech's maxed & all puzzles done, so, I'm not sure why they die so early in life. heh.

I'm sad cuz I wasn't really aware of this guy til he died and I was checking gravestone info. Most of mine don't live much past 80, if that. Besides monitoring them closely (making them eat, drink, get healed quickly) maybe the special fruit helps? I think this guy ate it a few times...in this particular game I dropped as many villagers as I could-and as often as I could until I got bored-on the plant to see if it really worked...guess so? ps When I refreshed the rank on my Statistics page, it said Nuwopo's age was ranked 179. That was just a few days ago. I'd love to know (in an unaltered, "no cheating" game) who the oldest villager is!

I am still new at this game, but have learned with the elderly, at level 2 medicine, you need to check on them often. They get obsessed in their jobs and do not eat. I have clicked off their jobs to make them take it easy and not strive so hard. Also have had to force feed them, since they tend not to eat as often. Anyone, see this at the level I am describing?

I can't get a villager to live past 81! grrrrr-no matter what I do for the old folks, they just drop dead in their late 70's to early 80's. I decided to concentrate on one elderly master doctor-take care of him, feed him magic berries, walk him in the garden...to no avail. His health bar was full red yet he dropped dead right before my eyes at age 76,one second he is at the food bin, the next he is a pile of bones on the ground-on the easy mode! A heart attack or perhaps a pulmonary embolism? GEEEEZZZZZ- I am wondering if they live longer on the harder modes? Anyone know? This is VERY FRUSTRATING! and I hate when that stupid GC calls a party and the villagers dance all over the skeletons-yuk!

All of mine that have lived into their 90's have all been Master Doctors - they tend to be healthier because they remember to eat and relax and exercise (they also wander around aimlessly too). I try to make all my villagers (or as many as possible) have at least Trainee Doctor status for this reason. They will research, farm, and build, but stay healthier. I must try that train some of my villagers to be doctors only.

That's one of the puzzles, and it requires a certain level of Village Tech. Try dragging one of your villagers around the island and see if they notice anything (look for messages as you drag them). Or, you can always check the puzzle solutions in the VV Guide.

The special fruit does work, I use it and it does help them. I keep them of work as well by giving them some thing else to do.

My oldest villager is 90. Thanks, everyone, for the advice that the magic fruit helps your villagers live longer and that making them a doctor is good. Just a few minutes ago, I gathered some of my best healers, checked the healing coloum for them in the details screen and am now feeding them and giving them magic fruit very often and making sure they RELAX.

(Hi guys, just an FYI: this is a forum topic for VV1. Why not start a new topic for VV2 in VV2 forum if there isn't one for oldest villager already? )
