I tried changing the time on windows but it doesnt seem to change anything

does anyone know how to speed up the game its way too slow i hate having to wait hours for anything to happen

You have to close out of the program before making the time warp for it to work. But you have to be very careful. There are several side effects in doing this and can cause a lot of issues. Not only for your game, but other programs that is dependent on your system clock. For more info, you can read this thread.
