I have one village that has 4 runners in it at same time. I think this is a record of some sort? Any way make both the female and male runners breed with each other. LOL you should see how fast the both run for that hut. I'm hoping one day to get a set of triplets who run that would be great. What's the funnest thing so far you have seen?

I think the funniest was one day after I logged out, I came right back to find that 9 out of 12 of my village girl have been impregnated by one of my village charming guys.
Thankfully, my economy was not hurt by it and the baby boom was extremely beneficial to my village.
Thank chance for this to happen. haha.

I had a Master Doctor teaching the dead once. A bit too late for that.

Yesterday I was moving "the hand" around and it went right through one of my builders neck and he appeared decapitated! LOL! "The Great Hand decapitated Ahote! Then it healed him! All hail The Hand!"

I still chuckle to most when one of the children squat in the field.

I also love it when a VV is 'running away' or you have a runner and they run into a hut and then get stuck there for a moment and just kind of run in place and spin.

You know how children all make a little sound when picked up, just like adults? Well I've got a pop. of 25, have had lots of kids, and they ALL--repeat ALL--make the same sound. It's that sound that sounds kinda like, "Wah!" Think it might be a glitch...

On one of my previous games I had a breed-a-holic, back in the Dark Ages (i.e. level one fertility) when they couldn't breed unless you were there. I didn't want her to breed, so the moment I got on the loading screen I'd here "Smooch!" and when the village became visible, there she was holding a baby. She was one of my favorite villagers of All Time, but I was SO relieved when she died!

When I opened up a completed game to check on them, all of my villagers were stuck on top of the temple, twitching all over the place! I had to pull each and every one of them down! What would they do without me?!

Heh, I got that to. I was thinking hmm just a few children playing where are my 90 villagers, then I saw them. Havign to pull down 80 or so villagers lol.

The Golden Child is extraordinarily insensitive lol. The number of times he's pulled a party right on top of my dead villagers while the others are trying to bury them.

I logged in one day and instead of a baby, my sick, nursing villager was lugging a rock around the village! No wonder she was sick! After I healed her, she went back to nursing her baby! Gotta love those glitches!

I have a pic of it but for some reason I can't attach files right now, so sorry!

I also had a villager who twice in a row was "Clearing Blockage" AFTER the lagoon was revealed. He was the only one hauling rocks, so I thought it was funny that after he celebrated, he kept doing that!

Again, I have a pic but am not getting the option to attach it, so that'll have to wait...

The last time I logged on two of my favorite villagers, the couple I "married" were hanging out in the hut doorway, necking! Then, I heard the "smooch" and there was baby number six. It seems "Elana" and "Dovid" found each other without my help. Another couple Cain and Zen were having marriage problems. I found Cain heading off with Honey to the hut, when Zen came along, got in between them both and gave them a piece of her mind. I couldn't Cain and Zen to mate after that. So we had our first Villige Divorce. Cain married his preggiers Honey and Zen found happniess with Eli. Zen had nine babies with Eli. Eli died right after baby number appeared and I believe I saw a smile on his face.

Today I opened up my game and at least a dozen of the little peeps streamed out of the "Love Shack" in a straight line - presumably to bury the dead. I'm not sure I even want to KNOW what they were up to! Oh well...I guess I should be grateful they put their clothes back on!

I have tried to trap him!! I have tried to knock him off, I have tried to drown him, there isn't anything I haven't tried. I even had him find the drum and cut it open and hopefully run off into the island, but NO he stayed.

I guess so...she eventually "found" her baby again, after she was healed, but what a burden! You'd think she'd choose a pebble or something. For all three, I couldn't believe they were doing/carrying what I saw, so I'm glad I got the pics. I've actually seen one or two of my other villagers "relaxing" while carrying their pet rock all over the place, but didn't yet know how to do screen captures. It's always something new with this game! I LOVE IT!

Well, mine was an evolving thing - I don't consider this a spoiler since it isn't an event, but some others might so if you consider skills/breeding things a spoiler, don't read -

I had these three males who must've been triplets - all redheads with those black and white outfits, same age - they all had a tiny research skill but nothing else so even though I'm maxed on tech I stuck them on the table.

Later when all three were trainee scientists I decided I wanted to keep that research skill around, so I grabed a few of the youngest girls of breedable age even though the population was maxed, and just kept putting the guys on top of the girls until all three had a smidge of a breeding skill. Not much, just a teeny tiny bit of blue.

I come back a few hours later - all three of them have gone from Trainee Scientists to Master Parents! Apparently since the tech was maxed they took time off from research to go impregnant all the women they could.

All three of them are dead now. But it sure was funny to me. The redheaded mass breeding scientists.

A few days ago I was playing a newish game, and I needed to make my village bigger. We wer edown by the beach, where the temple had yet to be built, when I dropped one of the males onto a female. Usually they go indoors, or run away. But this one got confused and started "run dancing" like the kids do. She got bored and went to try to push the boulder, leaving him to run in tiny circles confused about exactly what he was supposed to do. Before I dumped his dumbtuchas into the ocean.

not sure if this is funny or just weird, but I've been wondering if kids with farming skills actually pick mushrooms faster, so I dropped a kid with no skill on a mushroom, then I dropped a kid with farming skill on the same mushroom. Instead of one beating the other, they both harvested mushroom.

That's a "trick" that some people have discovered to get more "mushrooms" for the food bin. PAUSE the game and bring as many kids as you can to a mushroom (when it stops saying "picking mushroom" then more kids won't help.) When the game is unpaused, all of the kids are were marked as picking the mushroom will bring it over to the food bin. This is especially nice when it's an orange mushroom!!!

But it would be nice if kids that are weaned with framing skills would find the mushrooms on their own. Or if picking a mushroom would give the kids more farming skills.

I would rather the kids get a bonus to a random skill from going to school. Its only purpose is to herd the kids and keep the chosen one occupied so the others can go about their business.

As for a funny thing I have seen, someone arguing with the chosen one. Im surprised he didnt blink him into oblivion.

I just opened my game. Two characters were on top of the temple trying to get free. It looked weird because it was a male and a female and they were both doing that "seizure dance" thing.

To me it looked like they were doing the twist on top of the temple.

Maybe they found a new way to honor the temple.

As I mentioned in another thread, I had a GC stuck once. It stopped him from restoring the crops, etc., but unfortunately not from calling parties.

I think the funniest thing I've seen is how villagers will just walk through each other as if they are ghosts. Maybe in VV2, they will learn to yield the right of way to the older villager.

I've also seen several villagers "relaxing" yet lugging a big rock around.

I think it's funny when you open up the game and villagers are placed random places and it happens that some villagers are placed in and on (sometimes) huts and they vibrate there trying to get off. Their action bar keeps saying different things like exercising, fishing, going swimming, and so on. It's like a robot that's blew a circuit: does not compute, system malfunction. Anyway I laugh my butt off watching them cause they can't move until you move them, hahaha!

It isn't so much that it's funny, as it is sweet. Noah and Ebony were born three minutes apart. From their first moments, they followed each other everywhere. Both doctors/researchers. It seem natural that they would be a couple. The first were twins girls. They had in total fourteen children; only two boys- the GC and Dovid. Yesterday, at age 76 Noah was laid to rest. Ebony carried him to his resting place. A few moments later, Ebony picked some flowers and went to honour the dead. After placing the flowers, Ebony died. Dovid buried him mum. It was such a sweet and tender moment. I am very glad I am keeping a jouranl of my Amazon Tribe.

Yeah it's always funny when they just suddenly age like that...once I watched a baby turn two--there were "zero minutes left" in Mom's nursing time--suddenly her little white bundle just trots away from her and she doesn't even blink!

Not sure how fun it was at first, but I opened my game and there was a pile of bones, 80 sumodd kids, and 5 adults trying to bury their fallen comrades....and not a single kid over the age of 11

You know how when you open a game after having it shut off for the night or while at work there may be skeletons decomposing waiting to be buried?

And if you had villagers checked as breeders there may already be a nursing mother? They are also usually in the villager center walking a bout and then sitting down.

When I spotted in one game a nursing mother who sat on a skeleton!

I came in one day and saw Hika La standing on top of the temple, close to the ocean's edge like she was going to jump into the ocean. I yelled out, "please don't jump - we can work this out!" Hahah. I waited for a few minutes and saw that she was stuck and couldn't move from that spot, so I gave her a hand and helped her back to the food bin - I told her to take it easy from here on out.

I would have taken a screenshot, but I don't know how to do that at this time.

I was trying to quickly get a few mums preggers so I had two couples at the hut door and mated them up...the two women walked into the hut and the two men walked away...one to research and one (I swear this is the truth) to go fishing...LOL

The last two times I restarted my current game I've had an event that has wiped out the stored food. Both times there were two different villagers pacing up and down, with "worried about food" in their action description. Thing was, these were all farmers! The scientists/builders were working away happily. Once I dropped them in the sea they all started fishing. Why couldn't they think of that?

I don't know if this is funny, but Bem, the little bald villager turned 18. He immediately impregnated a 68 year old villager who is about to die, and then a 57 year old villager. Talk about needing a mother figure! And when I checked a few minutes later, he nailed three more villagers, all older, ages 54, 52, and 49. I have tried to put a stopped to him, but he keeps kissing everyone he comes in contact with. I should have known: he's only wearing shorts and no shirt. Whatever happened to "no shirt, no shoes, no service,"?

Bit of a spoiler, I suppose, but I found out you can make them enjoy a certain activity more the the others by clicking the little boxes next to it. Keeps the researchers researching even after you max out everything, the farmers farming, the builders building, etc. You have to get them a little bit of blue there, but after that even if they wander off, they return quickly.

So I set it for all the men over 40 to be breeders. Every time I started my game you'd hear all this rapid-fire kissing. It was like a machine gun. But the funniest thing was when one of the men near his 60s was about to kiss this sweet young redhead a little less then half his age. He paused before doing it and when I highlighted her, it said she was "praising" while he was standing right in front of her. Then he embraced her and they went into the love shack.

I noticed Kaia standing just above the lagoon, waiting for someone. I looked down and Keopi was running straight for her. Keopi is my runner/breeder. He did not even bother to go around the lagoon, opting instead to plunge right in and swim to her on the far shore. I guess he is in training for the ironman competition.

I've gotten the heat wave event where everyone takes a break and some go swimming, etc.

Since the kids can't swim, they run out to the ocean and just stand there, no surf board in sight!

I just read about your 14 pregnant women and went back to my village to find 6 women with new babies. Now, there could only be two men that have had that experience, and i think most of those kids are really from one man in a midlife crisis (55). Also, I have three villagers that are every bit as bald as GC. And I have two that are bald just on the top of their heads with a fringe of hair around their head. Not bad for a village that should have only 15 people, but ended up with 20 due to on man's philandering.

bit of an addon to what you just said,if she is caring for baby then the baby turns 2,she is sitting down without the baby but it still says caring for baby...i should post this in the suggestions thread later, but shouldnt the family of the baby(maybe just mom and dad and sisters/brothers)celebrate?well i guess it would get confusing if you have a man breeder...

...still think it's weird when I see villagers walk through each other...

This morning I saw two females chatting or somthing near the graveyard (neither was selected) when all of a sudden one has a baby in her arms! I'm sure it was a delayed reaction from a previous "encounter" but it sure looked strange. (when I checked she had 240 minutes left for nursing (on normal speed) so it was a new birth...)

There's too many to pick one, but this is what I saw a couple of moments when I opened my game. There was a large funeral (7 elders died) and it was pretty much all over when I spotted my male adept parent standing among the headstones with a lady when they both turned to "go indoors", haha!!

It reminded me of that film "The Wedding Crashers" where going to funerals was a good place to "pick up" girls....I'm looking at the burials in a very different light from now on, lol!!

Best of Irish,
Maura

I've seen one guy disappear indoors with two girls before, and the explanation has always been that the second guy is really really slow...this time however

When I opened the game there twere three girls standing together, and one guy. All three girls turned to go indoors, and the man followed them. As soon as they got indoors one of the trainee builders decided to "fix" the loveshack, and squatted down outside, apparently to fix the door frame. I continued to watch, thinking the other men might be on the way, and after several minutes searched the islend for a really slow guy going indoors. I never found anyone else headed that way.

These villager sare twisted lil people.

It's those mermen I tell you!

I have already mentioned these two events elsewhere, but just to get everything in the same place:

The first villager I caught praising, was a woman doing it right in front of a nursing mother. I thought, "wtf, she's praising the baby??"

One of the women in my first village decided to start breeding, so she ran over and made a pass at - another woman! When the other ran away and the computer told me they were the same sex, I thought "Why do you tell ME that? Tell her!"
...of course if two women went indoors and both had a baby that would REALLY be one for the books!

i still have my thanksgiving mod on, and I was half watching the villagers work while scrolling around looking for mushrooms when I saw a villager walk by carrying a turkey leg! While I was trying to figure out why I had never seen it before, and why someone would even want to eat a turkey leg they found in the ocean, I got my answer.

It was two people walking in the exact same stride. They were twins, so I couldn't tell there were two. They split to go seperate ways to the food bin as they do for some reason, and I saw that it wasn't one person with a turkey leg, it was two, one was carring a crab (meat), and the one behind him was carrying a fist (bone)

d'oh

wouldn't it have be kind of a cute idea for next year tho? Instead of crops, little turkeys appear on the farmland, and instead of baskets they carry turkey legs back to the food bin.

of course, then there would be all of those poor legsless turkeys sitting there

Aww...I thought I was the only one who discovered that

I taught my sis..

But, I used a different method. I don't pause the game, I just get 2 or 3, Im not that greedy.

But when Im dragging the 3rd one, the 2nd and 3rd one seems to have a liking for each other and embrace! >:(

Mushrooms seem to appear when there are no children!

Oh, I play the Trial Version.

May I ask, Orange mushrooms increase how many food points?

1st double mush!

2 red mush!

thanks to 2 red mush, the village was saved!

fishing in such shallow water!! sure no fish or very small!

The funniest thing I have seen my little people do was when I had 3 farmers that knelt almost through the whole game in the garden.Picking vegtables and never filling their pan.lol
And I also had a breeding couple stuck in the hut door kissing and kissing.Other couples would go in between them and come out while they were stuck in the doorway kissing. And the funniest thing about it was she never got pregnant.Best birth control ever staying in the doorway.lol
