Hi, all. My favorite and eldest villager, Tutu, is now 64 years old. I've seen pictures of villagers, etc. and was wondering how you go about capturing that screen image? I don't want to forget Tutu and I fear time is running short. Can someone please tell me how to do this?

Ok look on your keyboard and see if you can find the print screen key hit that than open up paint and paste it into that and save. there you got a screen shot.

I can't screen capture that way for some reason.

Is it because my browser is FireFox and not IE? I wouldn't think it matters as you don't have to be online. Or do you have to have Paint as your default program as far as graphics, viewing pics, etc., goes?

What I have to do is Pause the game then open Paint Shop Pro and then use their Screen Caption option.

if you have the game running hit "alt + Print Screen" and it will save the image to the clipboard. Then open paintshop and click edit paste. If your running a laptop you may have to hit a function button before print screen. If that doesnt work, one of your buttons is broken

Just hitting print screen takes your whole desktop and is often cumbersome to work with depending on your desktop resolution. If you use Alt + Print Screen, it will only take a picture of the "active window" being your game if your playing it. That way you dont have to crop all the extra garbage out of the background to just get a pic of the game window. Little tidbit of info for ya.

You have to hold down the "ATL" key while pressing the "Print Scrn" key. Then open up paint. Then just hold down the ctl key and press the V key. Give that a try.

such a simple man you are lol....

if you want to get techincal sure, hit "alt + print screen" then the windows key, then P untill "all programs" is selected, right arrow to expand the list, a for accessories, right arrow key again, p to highlight paint, then hit enter. Once paint is open hit control + V to paste the picture. Control S to save the picture, type the filename and hit enter. If you need to change the directory you can use tab and alt + tab. Ok im done goofing around, just do it the easy way

*This works in Windows XP with xp style menu*

Most everyone knows that Alt + Tab scrolls between open programs but did you know that Control + Tab scrolls between selectable items. For instance on your desktop if you click control tab you will be able to select your icons, if you hit it again, you select the start button, and again will select your quick launch icons you can navigate the whole pc without a mouse, and its faster

If you use IE7 Beta Control Tab also tabs between your tabs so you dont have to keep clicking on them to switch when you have 10 open like i normally do.

Im just full of info today.

Much thanks to you both. I just did Ctrl+PrtSc then opened Paint and did Alt+V and it worked like a charm!
