all of my people always die of starvation.

as soon as i start the game i have 1 villager doing the building work (cleaning the beach) and 1 picking up the food, all the others are behind the desk making tech points. yet i never get enough points to be able to buy the 3rd level of farming so that i would be able to catch fish.

what to do?

forget cleaning the beach until you're close to getting level 3 farming. Also, are you increasing your population too fast? try not going above 12 people before you get level 3 farming... and maybe you could try getting your tech in this order... level 2 farming, level 2 science, then level 3 farming

I never fail at this. Always put everyone at the research table except for one person foraging. Let the builder go do his building until he has the hut. Then put him at the table. I will take one person to all the plants to get going on being a Dr. Then I put that one back at the research table. Then don't buy anything with tech points until you have all your farming. It never fails. Do not make babies until you have at least level two of farming. But still keep only one person foraging. Remember you do not have to have the farming person water the garden it will grow without water. They do have to pick though. Hope this helps
