everyone was healthy but had like 60min until crop came in. and all of a sudden Tadao age 11 dies on me. and when I looked at log it all happened at the exact same time. he heal and starved at same time??? The time stamps in the game log are really not all that meaningful. What you're seeing when you check the game log is a sequential display of some of the calculations that the game performs when it is launched. It's how the game determines what should have happened while the game was off, and the time stamps mark when the calculations were performed, (even though the log's entries might represent an entire night's activity). What this log is showing is that your villagers had been regaining health from some earlier adverse situation when they ran out of food and started starving. It's not possible to say from what's here why they ran out of food, though.

Ok was playing and I was there when they ran out of food so I checked everyones health and they where healthy and I set the adults to getting stuff done while I waited for crops to grow. yes had at 2x speed cause I was playing the game. After checking everyones health and putting adults to work at stuff. I left that game and switched to other game. After was done checking on my other games I think maybe 5 min? I came back and he was dead. This isn't the first time this type thing has happened to me. But this time because game wasn't closed the log was still there.

Hmmm....that does seem a little odd. I wonder if the game is getting confused about elapsed time?

ok was playing again same game today and there was food in bin true not about 100 but they where working hard on it. had game on pause all night so I could baby game along. And the game paused up? froze for a sec and all the food was gone?
I'm just not having much luck with this one game. I'll live. I'm not going to spazz any more lol.

How many villagers were in the tribe at that time. If you didn't have much food, and they all decided to eat once there was food in the bin, that could make all the food disappear.

The file is called ldwLog.txt and is located in the Virtual Villagers folder, and it can be viewed easily in any text editor (such as Notepad or WordPad). When viewing the game log, you can see when villagers have been injured, or have lost health due to disease, old age, or starvation. You can also see when villagers have mated and with whom, and the production of food and tech points.

The game log is overwritten each time you launch the game, though, so it has to be viewed immediately after you quit the game.
