how many villagers can you have living on the island..because I for the life of me can't get higher than 91 ...

90 is the limit all though if you get a crate of babies it may go higher.

The maximum number is approximately 90, although multiple births and Island Events can allow it to go higher. The most I've ever had at once playing a normal game was 97 villagers.

a crate of babies? seriously? cool I want that. hahaha

It is a great event when you are down to 1 villager or all one gender.
