I've been wondering if anyone else here plays favorites. Naturally I adored all of my original villagers because they were there from the beginning so I got to know them well. But once you get more than 25 or so of them running around, one tends to lose track of who is who unless they have some really special traits.

My current favorite is a pink haired woman named Zen. At first I liked her because she had the same hairstyle as the last surviving original in my game, a Master Farmer named Koka. But later she proved to be even more interesting. I didn't notice it when she was a child, but her like is 'running' so she runs everywhere, even as an adult. She also dislikes 'playing', so it seems all she ever does is work, and at twice the pace of everyone else! And as a lover of Eastern culture and irony, I can't get over the fact that this little hyperspeed spitfire has the same name as a Buddhist sect that is known for involving meditation, clearing one's mind, and pausing to reflect.

If anyone else has a favorite or especially quirky villager they want to talk about, feel free to share here.

I don't have a particular favorite but I dig the little white haired girls and the little boys with the brown ponytail and war paint.

Yes I have one her name is Meka she has black hair and pigtales and a grey dress. She is my master doctor and had 4 sets of twins. You have to respect anyone who has that many twins

I wouldn't say I have a favorite persay, but when the population gets under 90 I like to seek out the oldest living male and the youngest breedable females, then turn him into a master breeder. Just keep him going into that hut over and over with the ladies.

I noticed that the older villagers tend to have twins and triplets more then the young ones. Since the ladies who are "elderly" have the chance of dying before the two years are up and the babies seem to just vanish into the ether when that happens instead of being adopted - it's better to use the eldest male then an elderly female. If he dies it doesn't affect the females or the babies.

I am currently loving the guy that likes to run. He's a great fisherman. He catches and places 3 - 4 fish in the same amount of time the others do 1 fish. Too bad he's so ugly. He scares me everytime I scroll across him. He's always looking at me with that pointy nose and horns. Just creepy.
