I had worked my game up to 16 villagers. I left my desk and when I came back I had TWENTY ONE FOUR YEAR OLDS running around in addition to the sixteen villagers already. I have no idea what happened. Has this happened to anyone else?

did you have any of the adults checked as breeders or have high level of breeding - they will just embrace at will if you have and then you end up with elderlies and everyone having babies.

I mean this happened in a blip. I went to the kitchen and when I came back, I had 21 kids- all four years old. There's no way that could have happened from 10 adults. I had only level one breeding and my stats said 0 twins and 0 trips. Maybe a glitch?

This happened to me when I was at a level in the game where the golden child needed to be invoked. You can check if you have someone designated at a breeder. If so, you can change this. Also, even if a villager is not designated as a breeder, if he/she has enough experience, he/she will mate spontaneously. It's kind of cute to see one of the males chase a female around.
