i was wondering if there was an age or something as to where the magic fish's powers run out because i have th emagic fish of fertility its 308 and when i first got it all of the preg. fish were giving birth to three babys. now its always two....

Is the magic fish actually in the tank? The effects of the magic fish only work if that fish is actually in the tank that you're breeding in.

Another possibility is that you have too many fish in the tank. If you have more than 7 pregnant fish in the tank, there won't be room for 3 babies per fish.

Thank you...idk how many preggos i had but i deffinitly had the magic fish in the tank. oh well doesnt matter. the next 3 groups of babys came out as 3 so i guess it was just for a couple of births...w/e the prob was but thanks again for the reply, ppl around here treat my posts like the plauge!
